On March 5 third and fourth grade students participated in an outstanding Science Fair 04. Our young scientists displayed their work on attractively designed science boards and invited their parents to listen to their presentations.

Earlier in the week the Science Fair went on the road! Our Preschoolers, Kindergarteners and First Graders were wonderful audiences for their guest speakers. Eventually, many of the children memorized their speeches.

The students explained their hypothesis, constant variable, independent variable, and problem. We’ve included pictures of a few projects with the corresponding hypothesis. We are so proud of their effort and scholarship!

My hypothesis is the D size battery will work best.

My hypothesis is the fine sand will go faster.

My hypothesis is the candies will have lots of different colors.

My hypothesis is the plant will grow with Coke.

My hypothesis is the water will take the least amount of time to flow out the side of the cup.

My hypothesis is that when I add more water, the food coloring on the fabric will decrease.

My hypothesis is that the generator powered by water will be stronger than the air or hand powered generators.

My hypothesis is the Styrofoam boat will be the faster.
